Our Graduates

Laquesha

“Resonance gave me a sobriety family…they showed me that there’s more to life than just drugs, and there are people out here that care.”

At Resonance, we believe every woman deserves the opportunity to rebuild, reconnect, and rediscover what’s possible. Today, we are proud to celebrate Laquesha as she reaches two incredible milestones—moving into her very first apartment and securing employment at the Hyatt.

For Laquesha, stability once felt out of reach. When she arrived at Resonance, she was searching for something many of our women long for: safety, support, and a sense of belonging. What she found was more than a program—she found a community.

“Resonance gave me a sobriety family,” she shares. “They showed me that there’s more to life than just drugs, and there are people out here that care.”

Through that support system, Laquesha began rebuilding the parts of her life that mattered most. One of her biggest goals was to strengthen her relationship with her children and her mother. Step by step, she made that vision a reality—welcoming her children for weekend visits and creating meaningful time together.

Today, she reflects on how far she’s come with pride. “I have a stable job, and I’ve built a closer relationship with my kids and my mother.”

Now, with keys to her own apartment in hand and a steady job at the Hyatt, Laquesha is stepping into a future she has worked hard to create. But her journey doesn’t stop here. Looking ahead, her goal is clear: to gain full custody of her three children and continue building a strong, healthy life for her family.

Laquesha’s story is a powerful reminder that change is possible when women are given the tools, support, and belief they deserve. We are honored to walk alongside her—and we can’t wait to see what she accomplishes next.

Congratulations, Laquesha. Your resilience, determination, and love for your family inspire us all.

Jessica

“Everything I have today is because of this program. Anytime I ever needed anything the staff was always there for me.” – Jessica

Jessica was a Reentry Court participant through the Tulsa County Alternative Court programs. She has lived in Resonance transitional housing since June 2024. Since then, she graduated from her court program, rebuilt a relationship with her family, obtained her welding certification, landed an excellent job, and most recently, secured her own apartment. For her, the “sky is the limit!”

Jessica has been a natural leader in the house. She is dependable and honest, and always willing to support and help new house members. She said, “Resonance has completely changed my life! I wanted it all. I wanted the really nice car, the great paying job, healthy relationships – and I have accomplished every single one of my goals and more.” Jessica is a true testament and role model for what can be achieved with support and determination. We will miss her, but we’re thrilled for her next steps!
