At Resonance, our mission is to help troubled women change…for good. Through accredited programs developed exclusively for women–and the special challenges and responsibilities they face as women–Resonance provides the tools, services and support that enable them to make positive life changes for themselves, their family, and the community.

Substance Abuse Treatment/Diversion

MarQuita_500Resonance offers outpatient, recovery-oriented treatment to women struggling with substance abuse. Our therapists work one-on-one and in group settings to identify the root causes that lead these women into drug and alcohol lifestyles, and result in the loss of jobs, children, homes, and the potential for incarceration.

Women who come to Resonance as part of court-ordered diversion programs, such as Drug Court or Community Sentencing, are referred to us based on their individual needs and backgrounds. For some, Resonance will be their first hope to make a permanent change to a life without drugs or alcohol. For others, Resonance will be their final opportunity to choose a productive, responsible life over substance abuse and its consequences.

Resonance also accepts referrals for our services from Probation and Parole, Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF), and Child Welfare. We also accept a limited number of women self-referring for treatment of substance abuse.

Our outpatient-only treatment programs last from 90 days to three years inside a non-institutional, compassionate, and judgment-free environment. During their journey to recovery, women continue to live and work in the community and care for their families while learning to cope with everyday stressors.
